Mind Colors

Endeavor, Lino Tagliapietra, Columbus Museum of Art

colorful leeches got bloated
some of them are even sugar-coated
with vibrant reds and happy yellows
funny purples and green that glows
blacks stripes running
and pinks gone a-blushing
rushing, floating this and that
inside my mind while writing tit for tat!

    Wonderful pairing of words with image ... the very first thought that occurred to me when I saw the piece of art was just that - leaches!
